Linda Blair

Linda started her career with Inkster Community Child Care Inc. in 1990. She became Assistant Director in 2000 and Executive Director in 2003. Linda earned her ECE III in Child Program Management through Assiniboine College. Linda has led the centre and her staff by example, modeling and sharing the importance of ongoing learning and education. In her 26 years of experience at the centre, Linda has been dedicated to the success of Inkster Community Child Care Inc. She is passionate in her commitment to her staff and the families of the centre and is a staunch advocate for early learning and the continued excellence in the quality of child care offered at ICCCI. Linda is a forerunner in the introduction of technology to child care management and programming and has been a presenter on the subject at the Manitoba Child Care Association’s Early Learning and Child Care Conference.

Linda is married and has a 31 year old son.

Maria enjoys family time with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include arts & crafts and photography. Maria makes adorable crafts with bottle caps including keychains and necklaces and has gifted her appreciative colleagues with her designs.

Maria joined Inkster Community Child Care in 1999 as an ECE III and presently works with the school-age program. Maria has a Bachelor of Human Ecology from the University of Manitoba with a major in Family Studies and a minor in Special Needs.

Danica Cuaderno

Danica started with Inkster Community Child Care in April, 2017. She obtained her ECE II diploma from Red River College in 2015. Danica is currently finishing her studies in child development and child care at the University of Winnipeg. Danica believes in the importance of emergent curriculum and supporting childrens' interests through play experiences.

Danica's interests include running and going to the gym and she likes to relax by reading or chilling with Netflix.

Nevenka has been with Inkster Community Child Care for over seven years. Nevenka is our dedicated housekeeper and it’s through her tireless work that our centre stays beautiful and clean and we enjoy healthy, delicious snacks every day.

Nevenka is originally from Benkovac, Croatia. She has been married for 35 years and has one son with her in Winnipeg and a daughter who still lives in Serbia, whom she misses dearly. Nevenka is the proud grandmother of three.

Nevenka has completed the requisite 40 hour Introduction to Child Care course from Red River College.

Kerry Borsa

Kerry came to Inkster Community Child Care in the fall of 2011. As the preschool supervisor, she is adept at managing the fast pace and challenges unique to that room. Kerry graduated with an ECE III from Red River College’s child care program in 1991.

Kerry has two sons, aged 19 and 16, who are her joy. She enjoys walking and reading, though not at the same time.

Leslie's interest in early childhood education started when she began taking care of children when she was young. She has always enjoyed playing and being with children as they learn and grow in a fun and stimulating environment. Watching children learn even little things brings Leslie great joy and always puts a smile on her face.

Leslie's hobbies include traveling, going to movies with her family and reading.

Jody Onagi

Jody joined Inkster Community Child Care in 2013 with 16 years of experience in child care and centre management. Currently, she works in the preschool room as an Inclusion Support Worker. Jody has completed many hours of professional development, including the requisite 40 hour Introduction to Child Care course. She has attended national child care conferences and participated in many workshops. Jody also has a Graphic Arts diploma from Red River College as well as the majority of courses required for a BA.

Jody’s hobbies include travel and music. She regularly golfs when possible and plays volleyball in the Winnipeg Women’s Volleyball League. She regularly volunteers at events such as Folklorama and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Nicole rejoined the staff of Inkster Community Child Care in August, 2017. During her time away, she and her husband welcomed their daughter Sophie to their family. Nicole graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Red River College in 2015 and is an ECE II. Nicole is known for her wacky sense of fun which the children thoroughly enjoy.

When not working or running after an active toddler at home, Nicole enjoys 90's pop-punk bands and organizing shelves.
